    • Female student suffered a previous big toe injury (damaged nail)

    • Intoxicated male student removed from concert, taken back to his residence

    • Male walking along Scholars Rd carrying an open can of beer, stopped, I.D and PON issued for having open container

Sunday, September 7

  • First Aid

    • While dancing, female injured left foot causing some swelling
    • Male student was unsuccessful when attempting to hurdle west exit gate arm of lot H, and EFRT assisted and advised victim to attend a clinic or doctors due to possible injury
    • Residence - Resident reported room mate experiencing possible diabetic seizure. Conscious but unresponsive female.
    • University Avenue / Scholars Road - Male student scraped finger while skateboarding
    • Scholars Road - Female Bed Races spectator injured when bed participating in the race left the roadway and mounted the sidewalk
    • MUSC - Female student struck her head on the edge of a desk off campus; concerned friend brought her to Student Health
    • Residence - Female resident burned her lip on hot tea
    • Residence - Male resident burned his foot after unsuccessfully trying to relocate an electric kettle filled with boiling water using only his foot

    • Emergency phone survey completed

    • Car 10 - Loud whining noise noted as originating from engine was identified as the serpentine belt having come off a pulley and rubbing against engine

    • Gilmour Hall / Chester New Hall - Ladder to 2nd story roof accessible from green space in Arts Quad was found open and unlocked
  • Fire Alarm

    • Mary Keyes Residence - Alarm activation caused by incineration of a bagel inside a residence room

Monday, September 8

  • First Aid

    • Togo Salmon Hall - Male student cut his finger with a knife while cutting bread - minor in nature
    • JHE - Male student felt like he was going to faint - he lowered himself to the floor
    • MUMC - Female student apparently fainted during class - EFRT attended and treated the student
    • BSB - Female student slipped and fell on the stairs of BSB
    • Gilmour Hall - Female staff member had her foot pierced by an anti-theft device
  • Security Observations

    • Lot M - Officers were called to Lot M regarding a vehicle which was unoccupied, the engine was on and the vehicle engine was smoking

    • Exterior of JHE - Male student locked his bike with a orange safety vest and helmet on 6th Sept. 2014 - he returned to find his vest had been stolen
    • Residence - Female attended Lost and Found after being notified her purse and wallet had been lost

    • Elevator Entrapment - Gilmour Hall - Female student became trapped in the handicapped elevator in Gilmour Hall

    • BSB - Bike was found locked to the stair railing at BSB - The bike interfered with repair work in the area - Facility Services removed the bike and turned over to Security

    • Missing Person - Reporter attended McMaster Security to pass on information regarding a missing person (her son)

    • Residence – Female student sprained her ankle yesterday and was treated by EFRT
    • MUSC – Female student attended the EFRT office complaining of a sore hand
    • IAHS – Female student complained of a severe headache which may be a migraine

    • Missing person report – Follow up was conducted this date and it was learned that the reported missing person has returned home.

    • MDSB #46 – Female trapped in the elevator

    • Lot M – Staff member parked his vehicle in Lot M – the member believes his vehicle was damaged while parked on the passenger side
    • Student was charged criminally with one count of fail to remain at the scene of an accident

    • DBAC - Theft from locker room

    • JHE - Insecure door
    • IAHS - Insecure door
  • Mental Health Aide

    • MUSC - Call received from cleaner regarding naked male in bathroom. Officers attended and found male student passed out and naked from the waist down.

Wednesday, September 10

  • First Aid

    • Building 48 - While attending class Female student fainted, possiblly strikes her head
    • Building 26 - Female employee stung by bee outside of building 26 while dropping off garbage
    • LaPiazza - Female student felt faint while in LA pizza
    • Campus sidewalk - Elderly woman tripped on raised concrete sidewalk while walking south on the west sidewalk by De Groote School of Business
    • Bates Residence - Residence student cut self accidentally with scissors
  • Intoxication

    • 1280 Bar - Intoxicated male in 1280 Bar. Manager requested male be removed from bar for falling asleep.
  • Drugs for Destruction

    • A staff member from the print shop found marijuana while on their way to work
  • Fire Alarm

    • Building 10 - Unknown fire alarm from building 10 fourth floor. Panel read smoke detector.
  • Theft

    • Theft of a bike from east side of #16.
  • Security Observations

    • IAHS - Data closet found insecure as there appears tremendous potential for theft from this area
  • CDSA

    • Residence - Constables on foot patrol of residence area encountered a group of students engaged in drug use
  • Flight from Peace Officer / Dangerous Driving

    • Forsyth - Vehicle found driving across grassed and wooded area between Parking Lot D and Forsyth, vehicle failed to stop for Constables when traffic stop attempted and instead drove through Westdale at high rate of speed disregarding regulatory signs and traffic lights

    • Kenneth Taylor Hall - Underage student found unconscious in hallway near 1280
    • Residence - Male residence student struck head

    • Public Urination Residence - Male residence student observed urinating on a residence building
    • Public Urination - MUSC - Intoxicated male student observed exiting East entry of MUSC while unbuckling his belt, then climbing on concrete planter and urinating
  • Michief

    • College Crescent - Employees personal vehicle was damaged over course of night
  • Security Observations

    • IAHS - Offices found insecure during routine patrol
  • Theft

    • Theft around Tim Horton’s
    • Theft of bicycle from south side of #40, reported on line
    • JHE / ABB Exterior - Group of males observed by students carrying a bicycle which appeared locked

Friday, September 12

  • Intoxication

    • Residence - Male student found in an intoxicated condition
    • Residence - Intoxicated male and female had been drinking at the Hamilton Supercrawl earlier in the evening and CA's were concerned about their level of intoxication
  • Service Malfuction

    • Campus buildings - The Siemens system stopped communicating with most buildings on campus
  • Security Observations

    • Insecure interior doors - NRB - Officers found insecure lab doors in NRB during their patrol duties
    • Insecure interior doors - IAHS - Officers found insecure office doors in IAHD during their patrol duties
  • CDSA

    • Drugs for destruction - Residence - Officers responded for the smell of marihuana - 4 students found in the room - Small amount of marihuana found in the room along with some drug paraphernalia
  • Sexual Assault

    • Allegations of inappropriate touching under investigation
    • Allegations of inappropriate behaviour by IRC member(s) currently under investigation

    • Call direct to 911 because of an insect bite - EFRT was not dispatched.

  • Seized Bikes

    • On Campus - 507 abandoned bikes were tagged and marked in July 2014 - 47 bikes were seized on the 7th Sept - bikes stored in the Security stadium bike storage
  • Service Malfunction

    • A leak from the ceiling in the women's change room caused minor damage to the ceiling
  • Security Observations

    • Stadium - During patrol officers noticed that part of the temporary fencing on the north side of the Stadium had been pushed over which could allow access to the Stadium field

Sunday, September 14

  • Theft

    • Residence - Bike theft - bike lock cut. No suspects.
    • Residence - Male student locked his bike up Friday and returned today to find it missing the and lock cut
  • Service Malfunction

    • MUSC - Elevator malfunction - Occupants freed prior to Officer's arrival
  • First Aid

    • Ten Acre Field - Male student playing intramural soccer. Student fell and took a knee to the head.

Monday, September 15

  • Theft

    • Residence - Resident student reported that at some point on Sunday night his bicycle, which had been locked up outside, had the cable lock cut and was removed from the property
    • DBAC - Two students attended the athletics centre, placed their personal belongings in an unlocked locker in the locker room, and when the returned their items were missing
    • Residence - Resident student report that at some point over weekend his bicycle was stolen from racks
    • BSB - Female locked bike to rack south side Burke Science, return at a later time to find bike missing
  • Safety and Liability Report

    • Residence - Officer reported finding log retaining wall in state of disrepair, possible trip/fall hazard
  • Bylaw

    • Towaway - Lot Q - Alert Parking Control Officers found a suspended vehicle with $500 in outstanding fines
  • CDSA

    • Westaway Bridge - Constables encountered a group of students smoking marihuana under Westaway Bridge
  • First Aid

    • DBAC - Male possiblly popped shoulder while bench pressing at the Pulse
  • Assistance

    • Residence - A group of drunken males got into a dispute in the lobby of Brandon Hall, no violence took place, male sent on way
  • Security Observations

    • Insecure Offices -While checking building Officer Annou discovered room 303 insecure

    • Residence - Intruder was found in residence building and was arrested and escorted to a waiting vehicle

Tuesday, September 16

  • First Aid

    • BSB - Male residence student fell down while longboarding in front of Burke Science Building, his board caught on projecting metal grate
    • DBAC - Male suffered a bleeding nose cause by contact on the squash courts
  • Harassing

    • Off-campus - Staff member turned small metal object found in womens washroom to our department. Constable identified the object as a grinder with trace amounts of marihuana
  • Suspicious Event Report

    • Gilmour Hall - Alert Parking Control Officers found a suspended vehicle with $500 in outstanding fines
  • Theft

    • JHE - Two wireless Access Points reported stolen from the basement of John Hodgins Engineering Building on September 5, 2014

    • Mills Library - Attended to repair a door which has been causing problems

Wednesday, September 17

  • First Aid

    • On-Campus - Female tripped and sprained her ankle
    • DBAC - Student felt faint while working out in DBAC
    • Divinity College - 15 year old unaffiliated male while commuting home from work suffered severe abdominal pains
    • LPH - Male student suffered an allergic reaction from an unknown substance
  • Harassing

    • On/Off Campus - Female student became jealous that her ex boyfriend is friends to 2 other female students - for the past few days the female has harassed these 2 females through social media
  • Assault

    • TSH - Female confronted her ex boyfriend and assaulted by punching him twice in the face
  • Theft

    • ABB - Student locked his bike on the 15 Sept. - he returned on the 16th Sept to find the bike had been stolen
    • Gilmour Hall - Female student had her Iphone stolen
    • IAHS - Female nursing student had her locker broken into and her stethoscope stolen
  • Fire Alarm

    • Residence - Officers and HFD responded to a fire alarm in a residence building
    • LSB - Plumbers triggered the alarm and then took it upon themselves to silence the system

    • 1280 - Male student attempted to pass fake ID to gain entrance into 1280

    • Male student found urinating in public

    • NRB - several labs found insecured

Thursday, September 18

  • First Aid

    • ET Clarke - female tripped and fell prior to boarding the Go bus in Mississauga and scraped her knees
    • DBAC - Male suffered a bleeding nose cause by contact on the squash courts
    • Les Prince - Male with on-going history of allergy problems contacted EFRT for the second night in a row
  • Lost Property

    • Go Station - The compl. caught the Go bus to Mississauga last evening and when she arrived home she noticed on of her text books was missing
  • Damaged / Missing Regulatory Signs

    • On-Campus - University sign by the helipad was lying on the ground and a stop sign on Stearn was bent 45 degrees
  • Mischief

    • Lot B Entry Gate - The entrance gate to Lot B was bent and damaged

    • Male contacted communications regarding his mental state
  • CDSA

    • Residence - Male admitted to smoking one small marihuana joint to CA

    • Off-Campus - Male off-campus advised Communications he thought he was going to be mugged by group of males

    • Male ejected from bar due to assaulting another patron. He broke free upon his initial arrest, and was rearrested after being located approximately 20 minutes later.

Friday, September 19

  • First Aid

    • Residence - Female suffering pink eye, feeling weak and stuffed up
    • 1280 - While leaving 1280 pub, morning victim was knocked over by unknown person, falling to the ground causing sprain to left ankle.
    • DBAC - Male student sustained a laceration above his left eye after he was accidentally elbowed while playing basketball
    • Residence - Male student who fell off his bicycle and injured himself was treated by EFRT and released at the scene
    • Residence - Female resident student complained that a ankle injury from 4 days ago was bothering her
  • Mischief

    • MUSC - Two Paradise Catering vans were damaged (mirrors) while parked in receiving of the Student Centre overnight
  • Insecure Areas

    • IAHS - Offices were found insecure
  • Intoxication

    • Residence - Remale resident student found intoxicated in the West quad became unresponsive and semi-unconscious
    • Residence - Male resident student was found intoxicated in the hallway by his room

    • Track and Field Area - Male playing soccer collided with another player, heard right knee pop
    • Mini Mac - Employee reaching for full milk crate located in storage area. It fell on her right arm - victim complained of pain in fingers

    • Lot E - Vehicle side tires flattened, windshield wiper bent upwards
    • Residence - Female complaint reported that some unknown person(s) between 1100 & 1110 hrs placed unused condoms on her hall way door

    • Mills Library - Two males observed by complaint checking out bike racks

    • A fire trouble reading "ROM SW Version Error" would not clear

    • Field B - While playing soccer on field “B” male collided with another player causing a laceration to his forehead

    • Female rolled ankle while running in the morning
    • Female felt faint. Treated and released at the scene.
    • Female student complaining about bloody discharge coming from her ear

    • ITB - Golf cart stolen from the east side of ITB. Recovered shortly thereafter with the help of numerous witnesses.
    • Mills - Bike stolen from the east side of Mills Library
    • Gilmour Hall - Bike stolen from the south racks of Gilmour Hall
  • Assistance

    • Female believes her computer was hacked due to computer camera turning on at random intervals
  • Suspicious Event

    • Female believes her computer was hacked due to computer camera turning on at random intervals
    • Residence - Four females living in a quad filed a report stating that on three different occasions food items have been taken/eaten in their room
  • Drug Offenses

    • Residence - Officers were requested to attend the second floor for a smell of marijuana

Tuesday, September 23

  • First Aid

    • Male employee had sudden onset of dizziness.  Blood pressure was dangerously high.
    • Female suffered a seizure in the 6th floor study area
    • The Track - Male student was playing football when he injured his wrist
    • Residence - Female student has been suffering from an ear infection
    • Residence - EFRT responded for a male student feeling ill
  • Theft

    • Compl. secured his bike to the racks on the west side of McKay Hall - when he returned 12 hrs later he found the chain lock had been cut and his bike had been
  • Trespassing

    • Centro - Female who had been given a previous trespass warning by this department to stay away from McMaster University, was seen by Hospitality staff in Centro

    • IWC - Cleaners tripped 2 breakers in the building - these breakers were required to be reset so cleaners could complete their work

    • IAHS - During patrol interior doors were found to be insecure
    • NRB - During routine patrol a lab door was found ajar

  • First Aid

    • TSH - Male with a history of epileptic seizures had not taken his medication and suffered a seizure
    • Commons - While at the commons building a female student suffered flu like symptoms
    • Commons - Male student who lives in residence suffered severe ear pain
    • Residence - Male student suffering abdominal pains, fever since Monday night
  • Theft

    • Willy Dog cart - Willy Dog hot dog employee indicated that a male attended his cart, distracted him and then made off with an undetermined amount of cash
  • Assistance

    • While on routine patrol, an Officer was approached by a female student who was looking to talk about her on-going mental illness

    • TSH - Report recieved via email of a fail to remain that occurred on Monday
  • Security Observations

    • IAHS - During patrol interior doors were found to be insecure
    • NRB - During routine patrol a lab door was found ajar

Thursday, September 25

  • First Aid

    • Engineering Technology Building - Male student while waiting for class suffered abdominal pains
    • Residence - Male student was out in the wooded area behind residence. He jumped off a log twisting his ankle.
    • Michael DeGroote School of Learning - Male student had been vomiting with stomach pains
    • Female student walking through parking lot wearing thin soled shoes stepped on a stone. Stoned punctured her shoe ended up in her foot causing a cut.
  • Theft

    • Residence - Male student living in residence left his wrist watch on a table while playing pool in the games room. He forgot it and returned to his room; next morning, he returned to discover it missing
  • Assistance

    • Hospitality - Employee reports disruptive male coming into cafe 2000
    • Residence - Assistance provided to female student in residence. Female student received several unwanted communications from a male also living in residence
    • Financial Services - Staff in financial services expressed concern over the well being of a former student
  • Harassment

    • Report from off campus parking supervisor that a contract guard was threatened today in retaliation for a ticket they issued to a contractor

Friday, September 26

  • First Aid

    • Residence - Student was piggy backing another person last night when he fell and scraped his forearm on the pavement
    • MDCL - Female student fainted
    • Residence - Intoxicated male sent to St Joe's via EMS
    • Residence - Intoxicated female to MUMC
    • DBAC - Intoxicated female in the west entrance
    • Residence - Intoxicated male. EMS to hospital.
    • King's Walk - Female drank half a 26er and didn't feel overly well as a result
    • TSH - Female suffered a seizure- released at the scene- left campus via taxi
    • Residence - Intoxicated female- released to the care of a sober friend
    • TSH - Intoxicated female.  EMS transported to hospital
    • Residence - Intoxicated female- treated and released
    • Lot C - Intoxicated male- left campus with a sober friend
    • Residence - Intoxicated Females- assessed and released to a sober friend
    • DBAC - Intoxicated male- left campus with a sober friend after vomiting all over himself
    • Commons - intoxicated male-released to sober friend
    • Residence - Intoxicated female- left in care of sober friend
  • Service Malfunction

    • Residence - Student trapped in the elevator of a residence building for approx. 20 minutes
  • ATM Alarm

    • MUSC - officers responded to a seismic alarm at the ATM machine located in MUSC

    • Residence - Student PNG'd due to poor behaviour last year was found inside residence building - arrested and issued PON.

    • Commons - Underage male drinking from a red solo cup. PON issued.

    • Warning condition on control panel

    • ITB - Bike stolen from south side of ITB.

    • IWC - No cause. 2000 people evacuated and reentered building with very few issues.

    • Residence - Female student found passed out in the hallway of a residence building due to intoxication
    • Residence - Male under the influence of both alcohol and marihuana walked into a wall due to his intoxicated state and suffered a laceration
    • Residence - Intoxicated male. EFRT treated and released
    • Residence - Female dry heaving. Cause unknown.

    • Library - Male reported his laptop had been stolen last Thursday while he was in one of the libraries
  • LLA

    • Lot B - Subject was found consuming liquor in the Lot B parking lot
    • Male found walking with open can of Coors light. PON issued.
    • Stearn Drive - Male found with open can of Busch Light- PON issued.
    • Sterling St. - Male under 19 with liquor
    • Sterling St. - Male on Sterling street in possession of an open beer

    • ET Clarke - Female students were pushing a golf cart which was parked outside the ET Clarke building as a prank

    • MUSC - Culprit(s) damaged the taps in the men's washroom by Compass

    • Residence - Pregnant female experiencing back pain, transported by EMS to hospital
    • Residence - Female experiencing back pain caused by urinary tract infection, transported by EMS to hospital
    • Residence - Female experiencing stomach pain, released at scene
    • Residence - Male experiencing stomach pain, released at scene
  • Mischief

    • University Hall 3rd Floor - u/k culprit(s) put toilet paper in one of the sinks which plugged the drain and then left the taps running which caused an overflow and minor
    • KTH - Offensive words and pictures on blackboard, no indication of hate crime elements
  • Assist Hamilton Police

    • Off-Campus - Hamilton Police are investigating an alleged Sexual Assault that took place off campus

    • Residence - Smell of marihuana led to seizure of small amount of hash oil

Thursday, October 2

  • First Aid

    • ABB - Female student fainted while in class
    • IAHS - Female student felt lightheaded and apparently fainted for a brief
    • ABB - Female student working in a lab punctured her finger with a needle
    • IAHS - Female student not feeling well - It appears the female was suffering an anxiety attack

    • Facilities employee got a minor cut on his hand from a scraper
    • Rash on a hospitality employee had worsened since it was first noticed at home in the morning
    • Facilities employee hit ceiling of elevator with a mop handle and was subsequently hit by the lighting grate when it fell, causing very minor cut
